Location: All of North America; Canada travel PositionSummary The Geotechnical Superintendent is, first and foremost, a strong field leader - responsible for organizing, directing, and motivating craft employees and subcontractors, instilling discipline and accountability on site, and setting the daily standard for safety, quality, and productivity. This role carries full ownership of field execution, from planning and scheduling to enforcing company policies and procedures. Candidates with a military leadership background (NCO, Officer, or equivalent) are strongly encouraged to apply - the structure, discipline, and mission-focused leadership required to lead troops translates directly to leading crews in the field, and can be considered in lieu of some civilian field experience. Exposure to geotechnical or specialty civil construction (slurry walls, deep foundations, ground improvement) is a plus. Responsible for the coordination and support of subcontractor field operations. Physical Demands& Work Environment This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required. Effective communication, tool use, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
