Overview
Substrate is the data and intelligence platform that enables partner teams at Microsoft to build, deploy, andmaintaincompliant productivity apps and services with reduced effort and faster time to market. CoreAuthentication team is one of the fundamental teams in Substrate responsible forbuilding ofauthentication and authorization stacks thatprovidesuser access into Substrate and inter-service communication within the Substrate. The team mission is to provide secure,reliableand resilient authentication and authorization layers for the Substrate and on-premises configurations, including our partners, and to serve as the gatekeeper for the core Microsoft 365 resources. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about security, technical challenges, debuggingand above all- customer success and satisfaction. Familiarity with the modern authentication methodologies and security fundamentals is a big plus. Not only are you going to become an expert in the security field but will also learn and appreciate first-hand how to buildhighly availabledistributed services of planetary scale working for thousands of businesses and millions of consumers around the world. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving massive scale challenges and embraces the cultural values of inclusion and belonging. #M365 Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
