The Data Licensing & Technology Transactions Attorney ("Attorney") will be primarily responsible for supporting SEI business, technology, operations, procurement, data governance and product teams in the review, negotiation and administration of a broad range of commercial transactions. The Attorney will work with business stakeholders and senior members of the Legal Department in connection with agreements involving technology, data, software, professional services and strategic third-party relationships while helping to ensure compliance with SEI's contractual, regulatory and third-party risk management obligations. A significant focus of the role will be advising on the acquisition, licensing, governance and use of third-party data and technology solutions that support SEI's business operations, products and services. The Attorney will regularly advise stakeholders on data rights, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, information security, privacy, operational risk and regulatory considerations associated with strategic vendor relationships. The Attorney will have frequent interaction with internal solutions teams, procurement professionals, data governance personnel, information security teams, product/service owners and relationship managers, and will participate in negotiations with vendors, technology providers, market data providers, exchanges, index providers and other strategic counterparties. The Attorney must possess strong relationship-building, communication, project management, organizational and negotiation skills and be capable of providing practical, commercially focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
