Job Summary The Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women's is looking for a Research Lab Tech I to join their research team.The Principal Investigator and associates are investigating the immune-pathogenesis of serious cutaneous diseases including severe drug allergies and graft-versus-host disease as well as novel therapeutics for cutaneous disease. Our lab work is translational and has the goal of directly impacting patient care. We work with both human specimens and mice. The RLT I will have a number of roles ranging from general lab maintenance and support (ordering, preparing media and buffers, breeding and genotyping mice) to performing independent experimentation including immunohistochemistry and fluorescence, microscopy, cell culture, protein purification and Western blot analysis, and mouse experimentation. They will also conduct integrative data analyses using a wide range of approaches: genomic, proteomic, single cell technologies (RNASeq, CYTOF). The candidate will also be responsible for developing tools needed to manipulate and present data as well as maintaining shared documents and data sets.
