Team Overview

Join a highly collaborative team responsible for translating business requirements into actionable data solutions for some of the world's leading organizations. Working with large volumes of consumer credit data, you'll partner across teams, solve complex challenges, and gain broad exposure to TransUnion's products, customers, and business operations.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of the Customer Engagement division. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and translate customer and business requirements into TransUnion terminology and system-ready solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and operational partners to support the implementation of custom data fulfillment solutions.
  • Analyze data, test results, and program outputs to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with customer business needs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop, configure, and execute design concepts, code standards, and test plans to validate batch fulfillment system setup and output.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve processing issues while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to required standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to translate process designs into repeatable system configurations while ensuring compliance with legal, business, and operational rules.
  • Maintain accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of programs in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Participate in identifying cost reduction opportunities, process efficiencies, and quality improvements that support department-level goals.
  • Apply knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance practices to support program execution and continuous improvement.
  • Achieve qualifying scores upon completion of training in proprietary systems and apply that knowledge to support ongoing program delivery.

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience, coursework, or knowledge related to data analysis, programming, or batch fulfillment systems.
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in data analysis, programming, batch fulfillment systems, or related hands-on college coursework.
  • Ability to analyze moderate to complex data using logic, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving skills, and sound decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of legal, compliance, and business rules, with the ability to apply those standards during program execution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively across teams.

Required Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with data manipulation and transformation tools or utilities, such as Ab Initio or Informatica.
  • Familiarity with open-source or enterprise scheduling utilities such as Airflow, Control-M, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of software development, lifecycle principles and quality assurance practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and validate system setup, data output, and test results.

Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $75,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
