Overview The Operations Specialist III will be the Lead Event Planner to spearhead the end-to-end coordination and execution of high-visibility planning conferences (100+ attendees with multiple breakout sessions) and large-scale, multi-week defense experimentation events hosting over 200 participants from 50+ diverse organizations. This critical operational lead will design master event schedules, manage complex facility and registration logistics, and orchestrate detailed itineraries and protocols for high-ranking military and government officials during Distinguished Visitor (DV) days. The ideal candidate must blend elite, large-scale event planning capabilities with a firm grasp of Department of Defense (DoD) security compliance, including hands-on experience processing Visit Authorization Requests (VARs) within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). An active Secret clearance, exceptional inter-agency communication skills, and proven expertise navigating military customs and government facilities are required to ensure the flawless and secure execution of these highly collaborative joint exercises. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to U.S. Army Redstone Test Center's (RTC's) Aviation Flight Test Directorate (AFTD), Attack & Unmanned Aerial Systems Test Division.
