This recognition reflects our commitment to transformational leadership, professional nursing excellence, innovation, exceptional patient outcomes, and an empowering practice environment where nurses thrive.

The Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (RN CDCES), provides comprehensive ambulatory nursing care and specialized diabetes education services within the Endocrinology clinic. This role integrates direct patient care, care coordination, and evidence-based diabetes self-management education (DSME), while supporting program growth through accurate documentation and compliant billing practices. The RN CDCES demonstrates a strong commitment to patient-centered care and service excellence in all interactions with patients, families, and team members. Ongoing professional development is expected to remain current with advances in diabetes and endocrinology care. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory environment and exercises sound clinical judgment with a high degree of autonomy. Practice is consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, with independent decision-making conducted within a multidisciplinary care model.
