Job Description	ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking a student to serve as an Undergraduate Genomics Core Lab Assistant for the preparation of materials used in teaching labs. Lab assistants are responsible for: * The preparation of reagents * Laboratory setup * Laboratory breakdown * Maintaining teaching labs for biochemistry and biotechnology * Cleaning teaching laboratories The student must also be available to work a minimum of 4 hours a week around their class schedule.
GPA Requirement	Minimum of 2.5
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Preferred majors: Biology,Biochemistry,Chemistry No experience required this could be an excellent resume builder as you will learn lab principles and techniques and receive multiple trainings.
License/certification required
