| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Administrative Support Associate reports to the Director of Operations for the College of Business. The scope of the position extends from the College of Business to the entire University community. The Administrative Support Associate regularly interacts with a broad range of College stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to use a wide range of resources for providing support. The Administrative Support Associate is integral to the College of Business academic departments and is responsible for providing frontline support to the faculty. The Administrative Support Associate maintains an in-depth understanding of a wide variety of University and College policies, procedures, and information systems related to academic department budgeting, purchasing, travel procedures, course schedules, fixed asset inventory control tracking, and information dissemination. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: faculty travel submission and reimbursements, direct payments, ProCard purchases and reconciliation,
PORT purchases, department budget, course scheduling in Banner, department purchases, preparation of documents and reports, use of technology/equipment, organizing and maintaining files, posting information, mail distribution to faculty and interaction with students, staff, and faculty and other duties as requested. |
