The BNSF RailwayEngineering Departmentis responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the infrastructure of our extensive rail network. This crucial role involves applying advanced engineering principles to address complex challenges, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. This is a full-time job thatis located in Vancouver, WA Travelisrequired approximately 25% - 50% Key responsibilities may include: Assist the GDLM/Division Engineers in directing the ongoing prioritization, scheduling and execution of the capital maintenance activities across the division associated with the Division construction gang. Responsible for maintenance activities with BNSF Service Outcome Agreement requirements. Responsible for communication with BNSF Passenger Ops, NOC, Division Transportation, and other stakeholders related to BNSF Maintenance activities impacting the BNSF Service Outcome Agreement. Ensure compliance with safety rules, work practices, labor policies, regulatory requirements and personnel hiring and training objectives across the division Manage capital and operating budgets for the BNSF workgroups and work program as well as Capital Construction gang. Supervise construction Roadmaster Assist in Division coverage for emergency response, Manager Weekend Duty coverage, Capital Construction program, and Capital Maintenance program.
