ABOUT THE POSITION

Title of Position: Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Position Overview: Visions Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. In this role, you will help provide forward-looking financial insights that support balance sheet management, liquidity planning, deposit strategy, and key organizational decisions.

Compensation Range: $28.00/hr. - $ 32.00/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

Location: On-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Endwell, NY.

What You'll Do



  • Maintain and support financial budgeting models, including assumptions documentation, scenario analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Partner with business leaders and Finance leadership to gather budget inputs, answer budgeting questions, and support timely, accurate planning processes.
  • Prepare financial analysis related to income statement performance, balance sheet trends, liquidity, investments, and funding strategies.
  • Develop reports, analysis, and materials for ALCO, executive leadership, and internal committees.
  • Collaborate with Deposit Strategy and other internal partners to support deposit initiatives, pricing strategies, and growth scenarios.
  • Support liquidity stress testing and provide backup support for ALM modeling and reporting.


What Success Looks Like



  • Budget models, reports, and analysis are accurate, timely, and clearly documented.
  • Finance leadership and business partners have reliable insights to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Analysis helps identify trends, risks, opportunities, and the financial impact of key balance sheet and liquidity decisions.
  • Internal partners experience responsive support, clear communication, and strong collaboration.


What We're Looking For



  • Associate's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, plus 1-3 years of relevant experience; 3-5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with detailed financial models and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and standard office technology.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree, experience with derivative instruments, and advanced Excel modeling experience are preferred.
