Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a Summer 2027 Agriculture Business Analyst Intern who is excited about discovering their passions and potential while gaining real experience that creates value for our customers. You'll have the opportunity to support KAES and/or one of our companies: Koch Fertilizer, Koch Agronomic Services, and Koch Methanol.

What You Will Do

Koch Fertilizer

  • Partner with the fertilizer sales and commercial teams to support customer relationships, business opportunities, and market execution.
  • Analyze supply, demand, pricing, and agricultural market trends to support commercial decision making.
  • Collaborate with logistics, operations, and commercial teams to forecast demand, execute contracts, and improve product movement.
  • Build analytical, economic, and customer-focused thinking while learning how commercial decisions create long-term value.

Koch Agronomic Services

  • Contribute to supply and demand analysis, contract entry, pricing models, and sales planning activities.
  • Analyze market, distributor, and customer data to identify insights that support growth and informed decision making.
  • Assist in building sales and operations strategies while improving data accuracy and commercial processes.
  • Utilize business analytics tools, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to improve workflows and support value creation.

Koch Methanol

  • Support commercial planning activities by analyzing customer needs, supply positions, and product movement requirements.
  • Partner with commercial planners, logistics teams, terminals, carriers, and customers to connect market needs with reliable execution.
  • Apply analytical and economic thinking to identify risks, solve problems, and improve customer service and business performance.
  • Use data, systems, and technology to recommend process improvements and support transportation and commercial operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 4 year college program, 2 year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2029.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business, Agronomy, Economics, Business Analytics, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience working in agriculture, customer service, sales, campus leadership, or business analytics.
  • Previous work or internship experience.
  • Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding or reporting tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau.
