What We're Looking For:

Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking a service-focused and detail-oriented LINC (Loews Immediate Needs Coordinator) to support the successful execution of convention, meeting, and group business. This role serves as the primary liaison between group clients, Meetings & Events, and hotel operating departments, ensuring guest needs are anticipated, communicated, and executed with excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As a position that directly supports our Meetings & Events business, weekly work schedules will align with the level of group and event activity within the hotel. Team Members should expect scheduling levels to fluctuate throughout the year based on business demand and event volume, including periods of increased hours during peak convention seasons and reduced hours during slower business periods.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for convention, meeting, and group guests throughout their stay.

  • Meet regularly with Catering and Event Managers to understand group needs, event flow, updates, and client expectations.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with meeting planners and clients to coordinate requests, answer questions, and ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Communicate program changes and event updates to appropriate hotel departments through established communication channels.

  • Review group resumes and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure all event requirements are understood and executed properly.

  • Walk meeting rooms and event setups prior to events to verify accuracy and readiness.

  • Maintain the accuracy and organization of the BEO Bible, reader boards, and other event-related documentation.

  • Coordinate client package deliveries with the Business Center and Receiving Departments.

  • Produce weekly reports and assist with event-related administrative duties.

  • Conduct routine walkthroughs of meeting and event spaces, reporting maintenance or operational concerns as needed.

  • Monitor group activities and event preparations, proactively addressing issues and communicating concerns to appropriate leaders.

  • Attend required meetings and training programs while maintaining compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, safety standards, and service expectations.

  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Experience Includes:

  • One (1) year of hospitality, events, conference services, or hotel operations experience preferred.

  • Strong guest service, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional hotel teams.

  • Knowledge of banquet operations and food & beverage service standards, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently; proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems preferred.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods.
