You Are:

UST is searching for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead to lead quality assurance initiatives across enterprise applications and digital platforms.



The opportunity:

* Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers

* Define test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes for projects and releases

* Review business and functional requirements to ensure testability and coverage

* Coordinate functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing activities

* Oversee test execution, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution management

* Drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage

* Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and best practices

* Collaborate with development, product, business, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC

* Monitor and report testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness

* Support release planning, production validation, and post-release quality activities

* Manage defect resolution and quality issue escalations

* Establish and maintain testing documentation and best practice guidelines

* Growth & Development Opportunities

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

* 6+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance

* 2+ years of experience in a QA Lead or Test Lead role

* Proven track record managing QA teams and delivering quality assurance initiatives across enterprise applications

* Technical Skills & Knowledge

* Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

* Expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools:

* Jira

* Hands-on experience in test automation using:

* Selenium

* TestNG

* Equivalent automation frameworks

* Strong knowledge and practical experience with:

* Defect management

* Test planning

* Test execution

* Root cause analysis

* Advanced experience with multiple testing types:

* Functional testing

* Integration testing

* API testing

* Regression testing

* Performance testing

* User acceptance testing (UAT)

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

* Experience with release governance and production validation

* Professional Competencies

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities

* Quality standards and best practices expertise

* Continuous improvement mindset



Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote- US

Compensation Range: $68,000-$102,000



Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
