Security Officer Screening Specialist

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, document observations, and provide outstanding service while helping to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, including checking credentials, inspecting authorized items, and documenting access activity.
• Monitor access points, package-handling areas, trailer yards, and/or loading docks for unusual activity and report concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, perimeter, parking areas, and/or loading areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
