Requisition ID# 174130 Job Category: Real Estate / Facilities Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Energy Delivery Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Concord Department Overview The Land Surveying and Engineering Support (LS&ES) team is a group of 100 dedicated employees providing land surveying and mapping services in support of gas and electric transmission and distribution projects. These services include rights-of-way drawings, easement documents, engineering support drawings (plan & profile), topographic mapping and construction staking. We are located in 17 offices throughout the PG&E service territory Position Summary This job is represented by Engineers and Scientists of California (ESC) and is subject to collective bargaining. Leads a team composed of field and office Land Surveying personnel, as well as contractors to provide surveying, mapping, legal descriptions and drawings for the planning, construction and maintenance of proposed and existing company facilities. Works directly with engineers, planners, construction personnel, project managers and other business partners in assessing project needs. Develops and maintains work plans, schedules and cost estimates in support of these activities. Provides direction to the Project Surveyor, Chief of Party, Land Technicians and other field and office surveying personnel. Applicants must be licensed as a California Land Surveyor or pre 1982 California Registered Civil Engineer. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
