Location:Heflin, AL Job Summary
Manager, Materials manages the materials management function, including planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure efficient flow of materials that support manufacturing and production order requirements. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address operational challenges, production schedules, and customer delivery commitments. Provides technical guidance to team members on material forecasting, supplier collaboration, and inventory optimization practices. Ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance cost efficiency, material availability, and supply reliability across the organization.Coordinates and is responsible along with the Plant Controller for the accuracy of month end Inventory records. Required Education & Experience
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience: 5-7 Years Field of Expertise: Production Planning, Industrial Engineering Preferred Education & Experience
Specialized Degree: Bacheor's degree Licenses/Certificates: CPIM or CSCP (ASCM) Years of Experience: 8-11 Years Field of Expertise: Production Planning, Industrial Engineering Spans of Control
