Description
Under direct supervision of 6th Floor nurse manager, assist patient with admission procedure, during transfer procedure, with discharge procedure; provide for patients' personal hygiene; assist with patients' excretory needs, meals and in providing for patient safety and comfort measures. Provide clerical support to the Administrative Nurse of the designated unit. Salary Range: $28.18-$37.14 Qualifications
We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated clinical nurse assistant with: * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications,required * No prior CNA experience, required; One year CNA experience, preferred * Clerical experience in an acute hospital environment, preferred * Ability to complete an 8-hour computer data entry training course * Ability to perform all delegated nursing and PT/OT/RT assisted tasks * Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred * Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others * Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under a heavy workload | |
