Position Title: Welder Fabricator Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! Welder Fabricator Responsibilities: - Set up and operate welding equipment to fabricate metal components - Perform welding tasks using MIG welding - Inspecting welded joints for quality and accuracy - Utilizing hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal components - Operate a forklift to move materials as needed - Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Requirements for Welder Fabricator: - Ability to stand throughout a 10-hour shift - Ability to lift, bend, twist, push, or pull throughout a 10-hour shift - Ability to complete repetitive physical labor for a long period of time - Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a 10-hour shift - Candidates MUST HAVE a proven track record of several years of solid work history; please include details of your work experience on your resume - At least two years of experience with fabrication and MIG welding - Experience operating a forklift preferred - Ability to use different hand tools and machinery - Ability to accurately read tape measures and blueprints - Mechanical knowledge of various metals, their properties, and welding processes IND098 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
