Position Title: Assembler
Wage: $19.10/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in Jefferson, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assemble products according to work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications - Build and assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment, and other manufactured products - Verify materials and components prior to assembly to ensure accuracy and quality - Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively - Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process and on completed products - Ensure products meet company specifications, tolerances, and quality standards - Meet daily production goals and maintain productivity requirements - Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and escalate concerns when necessary - Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team meetings - Cross-train in multiple assembly areas and assist other departments as business needs require - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow all company policies, work instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements - Assist with training new employees on standard work procedures as needed Assembler Requirements: - Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience preferred - Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and assembly drawings - Experience using hand tools and power tools - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed - Dependable attendance and strong work ethic IND103 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
