Position Title: Vat Room Operator
Wage: $18.60-$19.60 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Be part of a nationwide leader in value-added food production, supplying high-quality egg and potato products to major foodservice and retail brands. Work in a fast-paced, modern facility that prioritizes food safety, innovation, and team success-where every role plays a part in feeding families across the country. Vat Room Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Inspect incoming tankers for cleanliness, temperature, and odor to ensure compliance with safety standards. - Complete and maintain accurate receiving documentation for all transfers. - Set up and perform product transfers to silos or tanks, ensuring proper procedures are followed. - Collect samples for laboratory testing to monitor product quality. - Ensure tanks and tankers are cleaned using the Cline-in-Place system. - Mix liquid egg products with ingredients as specified. - Assist in coordinating outgoing tanker shipments and maintain proper documentation. - Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of the work area. - Monitor equipment and chemical levels in the inedible tanker bay. - Follow all safety policies and procedures to create a safe and healthy workplace. Vat Room Operator Requirements: - Proven work history of several years; please detail experience on your resume. - Previous experience in food production preferred. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment with attention to detail. - Capable of standing for 8-10-hour shifts with repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting (20-70 lbs.). - Comfortable working in temperatures of 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit. - Ability to work effectively with minimal distraction and maintain focus on tasks.
