Position Title: Leaf-Rewind Operator

Wage: $19.50/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:45pm-2:15am Monday-Thursday

We're seeking a dependable Rewinder Operator for a 2nd shift associate-to-hire opportunity in Tiffany Springs, MO. This position offers a Monday to Thursday schedule (3:45pm-2:15am) with weekends off and paid training on day shift for the first couple of weeks. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or machine operation experience who has a strong attention to detail, values quality, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. Leaf-Rewind Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Operate rewinder equipment to process rolls of material into the required unwind position according to job specifications

- Continuously inspect materials for print quality, seam quality, and other product defects

- Identify, remove, and correct defective material through proper splicing procedures

- Utilize hand tools, including rulers, safety knives, and hole punches during splicing and production processes

- Handle, move, and palletize finished rolls while preventing product damage

- Understand and identify common printing, seam, and material defects

- Accurately record production data and complete required paperwork

- Enter production information into company operating systems and databases

- Follow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety guidelines

- Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

Leaf-Rewind Operator Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or converting experience preferred

- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

- Ability to calculate label counts, conversions, measurements, and quantities

- Ability to use basic Windows-based computer applications and data entry systems

- Strong attention to detail and quality control

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the work shift

- Frequent walking throughout the production area

- Regular use of hands and arms for handling materials, tools, and equipment

- Ability to reach, grasp, feel, and manipulate objects and controls

- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds

- Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
