Position Title: Mechanical Assembler
Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm or 10:00pm - 6:00am Reached a dead end at your current job? This is a potential for hire position. Apply now! Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities: - Set up winding machinery for operation - Assemble units using hand and power hand tools - Load and change spools of wire and coils - Test assembled units and verify units meet all electrical and mechanical specifications - Weld and solder copper and steel. Hand solder wire to terminals - Assemble core legs - Label products as appropriate - Computer keyboard entry of all necessary production data Requirements for Mechanical Assembler: - Skilled in copper and steel welding as well as hand soldering - Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide proficiently - Able to read three-way dimensional drawings, blueprints and work orders in English - Able to write production information/data in English - Able to read and correctly interpret measurements using tape measures - Able to enter data via computer keyboard, bring up three-way dimensional drawings, read and set counters, and print labels - At least two years of steady work experience preferred IND102 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
