Position Title: CNC Machinist

Wage: $28.00/hour

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure quality production

- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments

- Make machine offsets and minor program adjustments as needed to maintain product quality

- Change tooling, fixtures, and machine setups according to production requirements

- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues and report concerns to supervision

- Maintain accurate production and quality records

- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements for CNC Machinist:

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

- Previous CNC machining experience required

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators

- Basic understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery and handling equipment

- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift

- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and metal materials
