Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: Day, Night Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm; 6:00pm-6:00am (2-2-3) QPS Employment Group has a great Production Associate position available at a company in Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a day and night shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate industrial manufacturing machinery in a computerized production environment. - Set up equipment and tooling for production runs. - Monitor machine performance and production output. - Complete production reports, quality documentation, and computerized records. - Inspect products and monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process. - Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to address product quality concerns. - Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). - Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within assigned work areas. - Work collaboratively as part of a team in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Production Associate Requirements: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. - Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required. - Ability to work 12-hour shifts. - Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and safety requirements. - Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred. - Basic computer skills for reporting and production documentation. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Reliable attendance and punctuality. - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery. - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by production needs. - Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
