Overview The Bartender will provide efficient, friendly, professional customer service while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. This position supports multiple Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, pool service, and other assigned outlets. The Bartender will ensure guests receive prompt, attentive service and create an engaging, memorable experience. Responsibilities * Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests. * Be fully knowledgeable of food and beverage offerings for assigned outlets. * Provide professional and attentive bar service in restaurants, pool areas, and other assigned Food & Beverage outlets. * Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation, and organization at all times. * Provide silverware, napkins, condiments, and other service items before presenting food at the bar area. * Clean and reset the bar area as guests depart or as drink preparation is completed. * Complete proper bar setup and breakdown procedures. * Follow proper triple-sink procedures and all required sanitation standards. * Communicate professionally and effectively with management, kitchen staff, servers, and other team members. * Contribute to a professional workplace that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness. * Work effectively with a diverse front-of-house and back-of-house team. * Ensure the responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements, including proper identification, carding procedures, and monitoring alcohol consumption. * Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and promptly record all transactions in the MICROS system. * Maintain guest tabs and process payments accurately and promptly. * Monitor product pars and communicate replenishment needs to management. * Maintain appropriate product levels and assist with inventory control as assigned. * Sell and upsell food and beverage products while providing recommendations based on guest preferences. * Maintain knowledge of specialty cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and other beverage offerings. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area throughout the shift. * Provide service to guests in line with Omni Moments of Service Standards. * Flexibly support other Food & Beverage outlets as business needs require. * Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment. * Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications * Minimum 1 year of bartending experience; high-volume and casual environments preferred. * Previous experience in restaurant, pool, resort, sports, or live entertainment bar service preferred. * Strong commitment to quality service and demonstrated food and beverage knowledge. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and specialty cocktails. * Must have an unexpired Food Handler's permit and TIPS/TABC certification, or the ability to obtain required certifications. * Ability to accurately and efficiently operate MICROS or similar POS systems. * Previous cash-handling and payment-processing experience preferred. * Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance at all times. * Ability to work cohesively with team members across multiple Food & Beverage outlets. * Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and service recovery skills. * Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak pool periods. * Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions. * Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. * Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items as required to perform essential job functions.
