As a Campaign Manager, Ad Operations, you will be instrumental in the technical execution, trafficking, and meticulous management of digital media campaigns across various ad-serving platforms, becoming the go-to expert for critical systems and driving measurable results. Your expertise in ad-serving platforms, particularly Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), will directly translate into optimized campaign performance and exceptional value for clients. This highly technical role demands not only your sharp analytical skills but also your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, fostering effective collaboration across internal teams and with clients. What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end campaign trafficking in CM360, including placement creation, creative assignment, and tracking.
- Build and manage campaign structures aligned with client objectives, measurement strategies, and business goals.
- Configure and manage Floodlight tags, custom variables, and enhanced conversions.
- Implement and troubleshoot third-party tracking, including platforms such as IAS and DoubleVerify.
- Establish account structures, naming conventions, and trafficking best practices.
- QA campaign assets, landing pages, tracking pixels, and technical specifications prior to launch.
- Monitor campaign delivery and troubleshoot discrepancies, ad-serving issues, and data mismatches.
- Optimize ad-server settings, including frequency capping, creative rotation, and sequencing.
- Ensure accurate campaign delivery and measurement across digital media channels.
- Analyze campaign delivery and performance data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities.
- Utilize CM360 reporting tools to provide actionable insights and build/maintain reporting dashboards as needed.
- Serve as a technical resource for internal teams across Programmatic, Paid Social, Search, and other media channels.
- Communicate technical Ad Operations concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings and help present performance insights aligned with business objectives and KPIs.
- Support client onboarding and establish technical best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and measurement.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in Ad Operations, with a focus on ad serving and campaign trafficking.
- 2-3+ years of hands-on Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) experience and the ability to independently build and manage campaigns.
- Strong understanding of campaign trafficking, ad serving, QA, troubleshooting, and measurement.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), HTML5, JavaScript, and troubleshooting tag-related issues.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate delivery discrepancies and attribution data.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
- Ability to quickly step into a fast-paced environment and become hands-on with campaign execution.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
Beyond the Essentials
- Experience with Display & Video 360 (DV360) and Search Ads 360 (SA360).
- Amazon advertising/tagging experience.
- Experience with third-party verification and measurement platforms such as IAS or DoubleVerify.
- Experience supporting omnichannel campaigns across programmatic, social, and search.
- Experience presenting campaign performance and technical recommendations to clients.
