Join a dynamic and forward-thinking creative agency renowned for transforming complex messages into clear, engaging visual stories. This agency partners with various organizations to craft impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences, ensuring critical information is both accessible and visually compelling. As a valued partner, Aquent Talent is excited to connect you with this opportunity to contribute to truly meaningful work.

We are seeking a visionary Print Designer to elevate our creative output and make a tangible impact on significant public-facing initiatives. In this pivotal role, you won't just execute designs; you'll conceptualize, develop, and refine print materials from the ground up, shaping how vital information is communicated and perceived. If you thrive on transforming complex content into stunning, effective visual communications, this is your opportunity to leave a lasting mark with your design expertise.

Working closely with stakeholders and copywriters, you will be instrumental in bringing critical information to life through compelling visual narratives. Your designs will directly influence how complex topics are understood and engaged with by the public, making your contribution both visible and vital. This is a contract opportunity with potential for future conversion, recognizing your long-term impact and growth within the team.

What You'll Do

  • Conceptualize & Design: Develop compelling layouts for brochures and other print collateral, including projects created from the ground up.
  • Editorial Design: Create clean, engaging layouts that effectively organize and communicate complex information.
  • Brand Stewardship: Apply established brand guidelines while making thoughtful design decisions around layout, typography, imagery, and color.
  • Typography & Composition: Demonstrate a strong understanding of grids, hierarchy, typography, spacing, composition, and visual balance.
  • Image Editing: Use Photoshop to edit, enhance, and composite imagery as needed.
  • Print Production: Prepare accurate, press-ready files, including bleeds, trims, color profiles, image resolution, and final file specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, copywriters, and other team members to incorporate feedback and quickly refine designs.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a high level of accuracy across layouts, typography, alignment, imagery, and final production files.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong emphasis on print.
  • A portfolio demonstrating true design capability, including original concepts, thoughtful layouts, editorial design, and polished print work. Production-only work or portfolios primarily focused on template execution will not be a strong fit.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of print design and production requirements.
  • Excellent eye for typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to take content and develop it into an engaging, visually cohesive design-not simply place copy into an existing template.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
