| Position Summary |
This position will assist
EITS and the campus community at large in both Access Provisioning for various university core systems and access compliance and attestation. The person in this role will take advantage of tools and skills such as
SQL, AD management to assist in the building workflows, provisioning access and analysis of access data. This position will also take on more complex user issues in regards to system access and account status. This position will assist in assuring proper attestation and compliance in regards to access control processes based on state and government policy and/or standards. They will also assist in the development and continued improvement of various processes such as Backup Validation and Privileged Access provisioning. Finally, this position will provide data analysis to various teams to review access data. |
| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
* Proficient in access and security processes.
* Able to assist in the development of logical access security policies and address abuses of data access privileges.
*
SQL and understanding of relational databases.
* Entry level understanding of programing languages like Java and/or PowerShell.
* Understanding of access provisioning in a AD based organization. |

Access Provisioning
* Provide access to university central system services on request via established but ever changing business processes while maintaining compliance and mitigating abuse of access.
* Work within the Identity Management system.
* Provision access in a Active Directory environment.
* Review and look for opportunities to automate access provisioning processes, taking advantage of programming skills to script access based on established and defined roles.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Access Provisioning processes and procedures by collaborating with functional units. |
