Field Services Intern The Field Services Intern will work as a member of a project management team on multiple projects for CTDOT. The position includes review of plans, specifications, schedules, estimate and quantity take-offs for projects of various sizes and complexity. The Field Services group engages in several disciplines including highway & local roadway construction, green infrastructure, stormwater management, drainage & grading, utility installation, facility upgrades, feasibility studies, and general program management. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who exhibits a high level of professionalism while performing construction management assignments. All work within this group is based at the respective field office located in Connecticut. Preferred Qualifications * Attention to detail, ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents. * Possess strong problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills. * Ability to interpret construction schedules, familiarity with scheduling software such as P6, and Microsoft Project. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PMIS systems. Possess a demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry. * Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professional programs. * Preference given to local candidates.
