Here at Lakeside Foods, our maintenance technician team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally while maintaining the facility. Maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected "Jack of All Trades" team members, performing mechanical and/or fabrication updates and using their knowledge to continuously improve production processes. If you are a creative problem-solver who perseveres through challenging equipment repairs, we want to talk with you.

What You'll Do:



  • Harvest season (July - November)
  • Responsible for the efficient operation of the pea harvesters, sweet corn harvesters, and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations.
  • Serve as a supervisor/mechanic for field operations. Train other field employees in the safe, proper and efficient operation of field equipment.
  • Assist in the planting and harvesting of crops.
  • Preventative Maintenance Season (December - June):
  • Overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations.


What You'll Bring:



  • Prior experience with preventative maintenance, machine adjustments, and harvesting procedures is preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Safety mindset
