About the role

The VP of Revenue Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for rebuilding, optimizing, and scaling all revenue-generating processes across sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships. The VP of Revenue Operations will ensure alignment between go-to-market strategies and company-wide goals, drive operational excellence, and implement a data-driven approach to maximize revenue growth and efficiency. This individual will act as the central point of coordination for operational teams, helping to break down silos and foster collaboration across the organization.

As we continue to scale, you will lead initiatives that improve revenue productivity, streamline processes, and maximize our customer lifecycle value. You will leverage your expertise in SaaS metrics, technology platforms, and data analytics to provide strategic insights and implement best-in-class practices that drive predictable growth.

What you'll do
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company's revenue strategy and execution roadmap.
  • Align revenue goals with broader company objectives, ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Re-build scalable, repeatable processes that support efficient and predictable revenue growth.
  • Ensure close collaboration between sales, marketing, and customer success to create seamless lead-to-revenue processes.
  • Drive continuous improvements to pipeline management, lead scoring, territory planning, and deal flow.
  • Own the revenue reporting and forecasting process, providing leadership with analytical insights into performance against targets.
  • Build advanced analytics and dashboards to monitor key revenue KPIs (pipeline velocity, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, etc.).
  • Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and make strategic recommendations.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements that drive efficiency across sales and customer success.
  • Optimize the end-to-end revenue funnel by streamlining handoffs between marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Ensure that sales cycles are short, win rates are high, and revenue leakage is minimized.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of the technology stack, including CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and other revenue-related platforms.
  • Ensure the effective integration and maintenance of data across platforms to support accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or tools that can enhance operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Act as a strategic partner across sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to align operational execution with company objectives.
  • Drive organizational accountability and foster a culture of high performance through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead and mentor a team of revenue operations professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative team environment.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related leadership role, with a strong preference for experience in SaaS or tech companies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead operational teams and drive revenue optimization initiatives in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on metrics-driven decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Experience in building and scaling processes across diverse teams and functions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of successful execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on achieving revenue goals and delivering on strategic initiatives.
