POSITION OVERVIEW

The Product Owner shapes how Milliken's commercial processes, data, and technology work together across Salesforce and connected platforms, including HubSpot, Highspot, SAP, and business intelligence tools.

In this capacity, the Product Owner brings strong Salesforce expertise and a problem-solving mindset to commercial challenges. Rather than simply documenting requests, the Product Owner works with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales Enablement, business leaders, and IT to diagnose needs, recommend scalable solutions, and guide capabilities from concept through delivery.

The role owns the commercial platforms roadmap, functional solution design, and product backlog. It does not set commercial strategy or develop software, but it owns the systems solutions required to execute commercial priorities consistently and at scale.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Salesforce and commercial platforms roadmap and backlog, prioritizing work based on business value, user impact, enterprise scalability, data integrity, and delivery dependencies.

  • Diagnose commercial process, system, and data challenges; recommend future-state workflows and solutions rather than simply documenting stakeholder requests.

  • Lead functional solution design across Salesforce, HubSpot, Highspot, SAP, and connected analytics platforms, ensuring processes and data flow effectively across systems.

  • Translate approved solutions into process designs, user stories, data requirements, acceptance criteria, and release priorities; guide work through Agile delivery and approve completed capabilities.

  • Monitor platform adoption, data quality, workflow effectiveness, and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities and support successful change with Sales Enablement and business partners.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree and five+ years of experience in Salesforce product ownership, CRM strategy, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, commercial systems, or a related role.

  • Demonstrated Salesforce expertise, including accounts, contacts, leads, campaigns, opportunities, flows, validation rules, permissions, reporting, and data governance.

  • Experience translating commercial problems into scalable process and technology solutions, including evaluating standard functionality, configuration, integration, and customization options.

  • Experience managing a product backlog and partnering with business and IT teams in an Agile delivery environment.

  • Strong facilitation, analytical, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED

  • Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or related certification.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with HubSpot or another marketing automation platform, including lead routing, lifecycle management, campaign attribution, and data synchronization.

  • Experience in a complex B2B, manufacturing, global, or multi-business-unit environment.

  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, AI-enabled workflows, or commercial data and reporting platforms.

The successful candidate will have strengths in the following:

  • Commercial needs are translated into clear, scalable platform solutions-not simply tickets.

  • Salesforce and connected platforms operate as a coordinated commercial ecosystem.

  • Platform decisions are made and documented without unnecessary delay or customization.

  • Data quality, process consistency, and user adoption improve over time.

  • The product roadmap is clearly tied to meaningful commercial outcomes.
