Responsibilities

SPA's Information Technology team is seeking a highly qualified Senior Network Administrator to fulfill an immediate organizational need. This role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of network projects within classified environments, ensuring strict adherence to established change management policies. The Senior Network Administrator will maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and evolving policy requirements relevant to classified networks. Additionally, this position will provide leadership and direction to a team of three technicians operating in the classified space.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Possesses 5-7 years of professional experience in the IT field, supported by a bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
  • Brings over 2 years of management experience, demonstrating effective leadership and team oversight.
  • Skilled in project management, including planning, building, and implementing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven ability to operate efficiently and thoroughly within classified environments, adhering to stringent security protocols.
  • Experienced in implementing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts within the networking domain.
  • Knowledgeable about Department of Defense (DoD) networking baselines and compliance requirements, including CORA and CMMC frameworks.
  • Able to obtain DoD 8140.03 baseline certification and complete relevant technology training within six months of initial employment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing Comply-to-Connect (C2C) frameworks, ensuring secure and compliant network access across enterprise environments.
  • Proficient in applying Zero Trust networking principles and designing effective network segmentation strategies to enhance organizational security posture.
  • Extensive experience managing DDI platforms, including DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management, supporting robust and scalable network infrastructure.
  • Skilled in configuring and deploying network access control solutions-such as Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)-within highly secure environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate lifecycle management, facilitating secure authentication and encryption practices.
  • Adept at collaborating with auditors and assessors to gather and present compliance evidence, supporting regulatory and organizational requirements.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain TS clearance.

Pay Range Information

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $200,000.00/Yr.
