About the Role

Join our dynamic Cloud Success team as a Senior Instructor - Tableau, specializing in Tableau Desktop, Prep, and/or Server Administration. We are seeking a passionate and experienced technical educator to deliver high-impact 1:Many customer engagements and training workshops.

As a key member of our "ONE TEAM" in Cloud Success, you will empower individuals and organizations to effectively leverage Salesforce's robust platform. You'll guide customers through interactive workshops and classes, demonstrating best practices for product adoption. Your crucial role will accelerate technical feature and cloud adoption, driving high levels of customer satisfaction and success throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Expert-Level Training: Conduct technical, high-standard 1:Many customer adoption training sessions (beginner, intermediate, advanced) across various modalities (virtual, in-person, events).
  • Facilitate Hands-On Learning: Provide engaging hands-on demos and exercises, demonstrating features and functionality effectively, and most importantly the 'why' behind best practices.
  • Ensure Customer Understanding: Simplify complex technical features into easy-to-follow explanations and provide real-time answers and additional resources.
  • Maintain Excellence: Consistently deliver effective, well-managed, and well-facilitated classes and virtual interactive workshops, upholding a standard of excellence.
  • Drive Adoption & Satisfaction: Equip customers with the knowledge to drive adoption, reduce attrition, and foster long-term success with Salesforce products, achieving outstanding customer satisfaction scores (4.7+ out of 5).
  • Product & Platform Expertise: Stay current on the latest Salesforce technology, best practices, and integration methodologies, providing technical advice and adoption guidance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Cloud Success teams including Content Development, Onboarding, Success Guides, Architects, and Technical Support. We plan an important part of the overall journey for customer success.
  • Support Key Events: Travel as required to major marketing events, conferences (e.g., Dreamforce, World Tours, TDX), or onsite customer workshops.
  • Manage Utilization: Maintain a minimum of 30-35 teach days per quarter, with additional productive time dedicated to:
    • Ramping on new courses and delivering event/program-based training.
    • Collaborating with content teams on updates or new material.
    • Staying up-to-date on platform changes.
    • Completing mandatory corporate training.
    • Contribute to maintenance release testing on content
    • Mentor and ramp others in the Instructor Community on course and delivery standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of overall professional experience, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience on the Salesforce Platform, Data Cloud, and/or Agentforce products.
  • Tableau Data Analyst certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new and emerging technologies.
  • Proven success in leading customer-facing training, presentations, and engagements.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and tools (e.g., Zoom, WebEx).
  • Understanding of business analysis, change management, user adoption, release management, and governance principles.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Overall knowledge of the broader Salesforce Clouds ecosystem.
  • Ability to effectively handle objections, prioritize customer issues, and collaborate with internal teams to drive resolution.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $142,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $112,900 - $155,200 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
