Are you looking for a pivotal role in production planning where you can build business partnerships, enhance efficiency, and accelerate production processes? If so, the Production Planner position at GSK could be an exciting opportunity for you to explore.

As a Production Scheduler at GSK, you will be responsible to execute Production Scheduling (0-6 week Horizon) for select work centers within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network, to monitor and define the capacity statement for select work centers within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network (0-24 months) to run the Performance Management process for Order Fulfillment for a single site within the GSK Manufacturing network and to monitor, maintain and ensure complete data accuracy of all critical data related fields for their respective work centers. for planning, managing, and coordinating the supply chain activities at our site. This role involves overseeing demand and supply management, order fulfillment, production scheduling, raw material planning, material management operations, and customer interface.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Maintenance of an accurate Open Order Book so systems can be used to identify when product shipments are scheduled to occur.

  • Execution of a level-loaded and Fixed Frequency Repeating Schedule (FFRS) methodology to ensure order fulfillment.

  • Measurement of Conformance to Schedule (CTS), Schedule Stability (SS), and Cycle Time for all assigned work centers.

  • Facilitation of daily supply chain performance management session (i.e. Flow Meeting) to represent select work centers.

  • Maintenance of an up-to-date capacity definition for select production work centers, based on demonstrated output.

  • Execution of a pre-defined Performance Management process to ensure order fulfillment, whilst maintaining strict adherence to the FFRS methodology and intent.

  • Accommodation of the Production Scheduling requirements for non-standard activity (such as New Product Introduction or Artwork/Pack Change), whilst maintaining strict adherence to the FFRS methodology and intent.

  • Constant monitoring, maintenance and complete accuracy of all Supply critical fields within all data systems related to the select work centers for which the Production Scheduler is responsible.

  • Identification and mitigation of stock at risk and working with key support functions in processing any inventory write off requests.

Why you? Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Associates degree

  • 3+ years' experience in a logistics/ production related role.

  • SAP experience

  • Scheduler or Planner experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Qualification in a Commerce / Business / supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Highly numerate with knowledge of planning/scheduling systems

  • Time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans

  • Good Communicator

  • Attention to detail with ability to work under pressure

  • Influence key stakeholder

  • Ability to learn new systems

  • Prior Pharmaceutical experience
