Overview Concentra Onsite Occupational Medical Director Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM Address: 1338 S Clinton St, Chicago Competitive Base Salary PLUS Benefits We are seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Physician Medical Director to lead our client's onsite Occupational Medicine practice. This role combines clinical excellence with strategic leadership, delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care while shaping care models that improve outcomes, access, and patient experience. As a practicing physician leader, the Medical Director will provide oversight for 3-4 Nurse Practitioners and other Occ Med nursing staff; review complex medical cases; conduct Pension Board chart reviews; provide direction for OSHA abatement or other litigation-related matters; provide MRO notifications for members / applicants; may provide direct patient care for work related injuries / follow up; will work collaboratively with our client and attend client meetings. The ideal candidate will have Occupational Medicine and/or leadership experience (firefighter healthcare is a plus). If no Occupational Medicine, we will train. Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Internal Medicine specialties transition well. Qualifications Education Level: Doctorate Degree Major: Medicine Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
