Banner Life is a leader in Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) with over a decade of experience in the industry. The retirement business has grown steadily since its inception in 2015, and we have written over $14 billion in total PRT premium as of year-end 2025. Known for customer service excellence, Banner Life retirement secures the retirement of over 200,000 annuitants annually.

Purpose and Objective

The Delivery Coordinator will support the successful delivery of business and technology initiatives within the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business. This role is responsible for coordinating release activities, supporting Agile delivery processes, maintaining project documentation, tracking issues and action items, and facilitating collaboration across business, operations, IT, quality assurance, and vendor teams.

The ideal candidate is highly proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring projects and releases remain on track and aligned with business objectives.



Responsibilities

    Coordinate and support software release activities across multiple projects.
  • Maintain release schedules, deployment trackers, and delivery milestones.
  • Support release readiness reviews and deployment planning activities.
  • Coordinate post-release validation activities and issue tracking.
  • Monitor release dependencies, risks, and action items.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning sessions.
  • Track project deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Provide status updates and ensure follow-up on assigned actions.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation and repositories.
  • Maintain incident/ ticket logs.
  • Track project issues and action items through resolution.
  • Support identification and escalation of project risks.
  • Coordinate activities across business, operations, IT, quality assurance, and vendor teams.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings and follow-up discussions.
  • Maintain project and release status reports.
  • Track progress against planned milestones and deliverables.
  • Support preparation of dashboards and project metrics.
  • Monitor open risks, issues, and action items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-6 years of experience in Release Coordination, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Agile Delivery Support, or related roles.
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
  • Experience working in Agile or similar project delivery environments.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience using project tracking and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Pension Risk Transfer (PRT), Insurance or Annuities.
  • Experience supporting policy administration and operational business processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Exposure to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail with strong documentation and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 USD annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The current bonus target for the position is 5% of the base salary with a stretch to twice the target, modified for corporate and individual performance.
