  • Apply your deep, practical understanding of physical data center power and cooling systems to real-world scenarios.
  • Utilize your expertise in power distribution methods to racks (e.g., busways, whips, or rPDUs) and your foundational knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Engage in direct, floor-level engineering troubleshooting to resolve design anomalies and ensure seamless physical integration.
  • Independently generate preliminary layout designs and proactively address physical integration inquiries.
  • Act as a crucial technical liaison, connecting facilities, power/cooling, and physical cabling infrastructure teams.

What You'll Bring

  • Expert CAD Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to independently draft and modify complex floor-level and rack-level CAD layouts.
  • Data Center Infrastructure Mastery: Deep, practical understanding of physical data center power and cooling systems, including power presentation and distribution mechanisms (busways, whips, rPDUs), grounded in electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
  • Hands-on Engineering & Troubleshooting: Proven experience in performing direct, floor-level engineering troubleshooting of design anomalies and generating preliminary layout designs.
  • Problem-Solving Acumen: Capability to independently resolve physical integration inquiries and design challenges.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A proactive approach to linking various infrastructure teams (facilities, power/cooling, physical cabling).
  • Independence: Ability to perform direct design work and troubleshooting without relying on external design or technical writing support.
