Charge RN, Advanced Cardiac PCU, 7a-7p

The Charge RN utilizes the nursing process and ensures the Swanson Theory of Caring and patient/family centered care is foundational to providing direct and indirect patient care in a cost-effective manner. Coordinates and collaborates with physicians, nurse managers, house supervisor, ANM, nursing personnel and other departments to ensure quality patient care is provided and excellence in guest relations is maintained. This role demonstrates effective leadership skills to coordinate activities of the department and/or unit of all licensed and non-licensed personnel during the shift. The Charge RN functions as a resource person to nursing personnel and maintains appropriate staffing on the unit. This role demonstrates knowledge and ability to assess, interact, communicate and care for age-specific population.

Required:

• One year clinical nursing experience in area of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing
