Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a full-time, limited-term Marketing Intern to join our Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHGR) Marketing Team in either our Madison (Middleton) or Milwaukee (West Allis), WI office. This internship is anticipated to begin in May/June 2027 and continue through August/September 2027.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on marketing experience while supporting a collaborative team in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The intern will help ensure marketing materials and activities remain consistent with Mead & Hunt brand standards while developing practical experience with marketing data, systems, and processes.

As a Marketing Intern, you will support the GHGR Marketing Team with brand compliance, marketing information management, and day-to-day coordination of marketing materials and activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the review and maintenance of marketing materials to help ensure compliance with Mead & Hunt brand standards.
  • Entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in aec360, including employee, project, client, and marketing-related data.
  • Assisting with the organization and quality review of resumes, project descriptions, qualifications materials, templates, and other marketing content.
  • Helping identify outdated, incomplete, or inconsistent information and coordinating updates with marketing and technical staff.
  • Supporting the development, formatting, and proofreading of marketing materials and internal communications.
  • Assisting with file organization, document management, and other marketing process improvements.
  • Collaborating with marketing professionals, project managers, technical staff, and other team members to gather and maintain accurate information.
  • Supporting other marketing activities and special projects as assigned.
  • Developing marketing, communication, and data-management skills with mentorship and guidance from experienced team members.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate must be:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, professional writing, business administration, advertising, or public relations, or a related field.

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
  • Strong proofreading skills and an ability to follow established brand and formatting standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to seek feedback.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls;
reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
