Department of Chemistry: Welcome to the UCF Department of Chemistry in beautiful and exciting Central Florida! We have a growing and diverse population of faculty and students carrying out research in five broad areas of study: materials, biochemistry, environmental chemistry, forensic chemistry, and chemistry education research. Our faculty collaborate with the National Center of Forensic Science, the Nanoscience and Technology Center, the College of Optics and Photonics, the College of Engineering and Computer Science and the College of Community Innovation and Education, thus preparing our students for complex problem solving in an interdisciplinary world. The Opportunity: UCF's Chemistry Department with the College of Sciences is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator I to support our organic chemistry teaching labs. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for lab operations, collaborating with Instructors of Record (IoR), graduate teaching assistants (GTAs), laboratory technicians, and stockroom assistants to ensure students have the materials and equipment needed to achieve their learning goals. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
