Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location(s): Elkhart, IN

Position Overview
This is an entry-level position within a Manufacturing group responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other laboratory support duties.
• Perform low-complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support, including column maintenance and equipment maintenance and/or cleaning.
• Perform glassware washing.
• Support material inventory monitoring.
• Collaborate with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedules.
• Support the Buffer Manufacturing Lab as needed.
• Conduct 5S audits of laboratories to ensure adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.

Qualifications

• B.S., B.A., or A.S. in a relevant field, or relevant work experience preferred.
• Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO preferred.
• Limited laboratory experience will be considered.
