We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong ability to investigate operational, technical, and business problems, analyze requirements, and recommend reliable automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to communicate complex system and automation information clearly to technical teams, business partners, and upper management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve operational, technical, and business issues.
  • Analyze requirements and recommend automation solutions.
  • Communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor team members while promoting best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Expert-level experience with IBM System Automation for z/OS.
  • Advanced REXX programming skills for enterprise automation solutions.
  • Strong experience with IBM NetView and policy-driven automation.
  • Experience in designing and supporting automation across z/OS subsystems and middleware platforms.
  • Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex environments and cross-system automation concepts.
  • Experience with IBM Workload Scheduler and workload automation processes.
  • Familiarity with z/OS UNIX System Services and UNIX processes automation.
  • Experience integrating automation with monitoring tools such as IBM OMEGAMON, ServiceNow, and Moogsoft.
  • Proven ability to implement automation opportunities across various operating systems.
  • Experience supporting high-availability and self-healing automation solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Awareness of professional standards, innovations, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with OMEGAMON situation development and monitoring customization.
  • Experience with GDPS and disaster recovery automation.
  • Familiarity with SMP/E maintenance and z/OS system programming concepts.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, REST APIs, and mainframe modernization technologies.
