Job Description

The Compensation Lead Consultant is responsible for leading core compensation initiatives and serving as a strategic advisor to internal clients by applying professional judgment, knowledge, and experience. This role will provide compensation consulting to the Personal Property-Liability organization, helping to evolve compensation governance practices, ensure market competitiveness, and align compensation programs with the organization's compensation philosophy and performance objectives.

This individual will lead complex compensation analyses, job evaluations, benchmarking initiatives, and compensation strategy projects while partnering closely with business leaders and Total Rewards stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and innovative solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead compensation functions such as job evaluation, benchmarking, market pricing, and competitive analysis.

  • Develop and deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses that support business and compensation decisions.

  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to provide guidance on compensation philosophy, practices, and programs.

  • Develop compensation policies and practices that are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with business strategy.

  • Influence large and complex client groups to drive adoption of compensation strategies and recommendations.

  • Use compensation and market data to tell compelling stories and inform decision-making.

  • Lead compensation design initiatives across broad-based, sales, specialty, and/or international programs.

  • Support change management efforts and implementation of compensation-related initiatives.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including compensation analysis, job evaluation, benchmarking, and market pricing.

  • Experience interpreting complex data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and build relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive work forward with minimal direction.

  • Experience supporting or advising business leaders on compensation-related matters.

  • Knowledge of compensation programs and compensation practices.

  • Experience presenting compensation insights and recommendations to leadership.

  • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 90,700.00 - 153,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
