Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate visitor and access-control records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific notification and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, staff-only spaces, galleries, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with visitors and site personnel while helping maintain orderly access to restricted areas and cultural assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
