JOB SUMMARY Position serves as a supervisor for the GME program coordinators within the department, providing strategic guidance and oversight for the successful administration and coordination of multiple accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship programs. This position requires a high level of autonomy, expertise, and plays a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of GME programs within the department and contributing to the overall success of the GME enterprise at UT Southwestern Medical Center. This role may supervise GME Program Coordinators and is responsible for ensuring program compliance with all accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements. This role requires advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in all aspects of GME program administration and the ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment in complex situations. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field
6 years of direct experience as the primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s) 2 years of supervisory experience May be required to submit to a federal background investigation.
