Position Overview:

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Outpatient Gastroenterologist to join our growing GI team in Corpus Christi. This full-time, permanent position is available due to immense community need driven by retiring private providers and a backlog of over 3,600 pending referrals, with screening colonoscopies currently facing an 8-10 month waitlist.

Practice Highlights:

• Patient Volume: 10-15 per half day
• Clinical Scope: Primary focus on outpatient bread-and-butter GI, with complete flexibility to customize programming for advanced interests including ERCP, EUS, and hepatobiliary care.
• Inpatient vs. Outpatient Split: Purely outpatient ambulatory role. Inpatient coverage is fully managed by a dedicated 2-physician GI Hospitalist team,
• Call Parameters: For providers supporting call, it is shared across the group (approximately 1:3 or 1:4)
• EMR System: Epic

• MD or DO
• Fellowship-trained
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
