Job Summary
The Paid Media Manager will lead cross-channel media planning, investment strategy, and end-to-end campaign execution for major brand marketing and event initiatives. This role will develop and manage consumer-facing campaigns, optimize media investments using data and performance insights, and collaborate with media agencies and internal teams to deliver effective, audience-focused marketing programs.

The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment. This individual will combine media strategy, project management, and analytical skills to drive campaign performance and support broader marketing objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing programs to build brand awareness and adoption, including providing sales teams with collateral and tools.
  • Plan and deliver online campaigns, including email campaigns and placements across websites, seller sites, solution provider websites, and other digital channels.
  • Create collateral and sales tools for direct sales teams and events.
  • Create marketing content for personal and business website sections, collaborating with designers on layout and graphics.
  • Own end-to-end cross-channel media planning and execution for specific campaigns.
  • Manage external media agencies and internal activation teams to translate business objectives into media campaign strategies.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders on broader marketing campaign strategy as the paid media expert.
  • Drive real-time campaign optimization based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Compile regular reporting from multiple data sources and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.
  • Develop comprehensive campaign wrap reports with strategic and actionable insights.
  • Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and make recommendations for campaign improvements.
  • Advise leadership and stakeholders on the rationale behind media decisions and recommendations.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to determine and optimize channel mix for priority audiences based on business objectives and performance data.
  • Maintain high standards across media planning and implementation.
  • Leverage media expertise to own projects that impact the media team and broader marketing organization.
  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization while representing the team with integrity and self-sufficiency.
  • Partner with other media managers to leverage investment decisions, audience insights, and learnings across campaigns.
  • Contribute insights to advertising portfolio strategy and investment models.
  • Work effectively across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional, non-internship marketing experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of cross-channel media strategy and experience leading complex business at an agency or in-house with a large advertiser.
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple simultaneous marketing campaigns.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive marketing and campaign improvements.
  • Experience using industry media planning tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, Comscore, or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting.
  • Deep knowledge of auction-based media, including programmatic advertising and paid social.
  • Experience working with media agencies and internal activation teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and campaign optimization skills.
  • Experience developing campaign performance reports and actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
