The Regional IT Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery, performance, and operational excellence of Corporate IT services across the assigned region. This role serves as the primary regional liaison between business stakeholders, IT Site Managers, Corporate IT Product and Service Owners, and external service providers to ensure consistent, high-quality IT service delivery.

The position drives operational performance, service quality, transparency, escalation management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the region. In addition, the Regional IT Operations Manager provides functional leadership and coordination for IT Site Managers, while supporting regional IT budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and invoice validation activities.

This role focuses on operational governance and service delivery effectiveness. Ownership of IT products, services, applications, and technical solutions remains with the respective Corporate IT Product Owners, Service Owners, and technical delivery teams.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Lead regional IT service delivery, ensuring operational excellence, service quality, and customer satisfaction across all sites.
  • Provide functional leadership and coordination for IT Site Managers, aligning priorities, reporting, escalations, and operating standards.
  • Manage regional IT escalations, major incidents, and recurring service issues, partnering with Corporate IT teams and service providers to drive sustainable resolutions.
  • Monitor and report on service performance, risks, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities through KPI tracking and service reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, user experience, and adoption of Corporate IT standards.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between regional business leaders, IT Business Partners, Corporate IT teams, and external providers.
  • Coordinate regional IT projects, implementations, and cross-site initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and service providers.
  • Support regional IT budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and validation of IT-related invoices and expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate IT policies, standards, and governance processes while managing approved regional exceptions.
  • Maintain ownership of regional operational performance, service transparency, and continuous improvement, while partnering with IT Business Partners who own strategic business alignment and demand management.
Show your expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT operations, service management, or IT service delivery within a global enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience leading distributed IT teams and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred), operational governance, and service performance management.
  • Experience with incident, escalation, problem, and continuous improvement processes, including driving sustainable corrective actions.
  • Understanding of enterprise technologies, including workplace services, infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and business applications.
  • Experience supporting IT budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and vendor invoice review.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and IT functions.
  • Experience working in international, matrixed organizations and collaborating across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Fluent in English; additional regional language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as business needs require.
